LEKROM HOUSE

LEKROM HOUSE may be 2 storeys shorter than her big sister, Morkel, but their blockhouse-like construction and architectural design are almost identical otherwise; as is her name (Lekrom is Morkel backwards). She houses 1 anchor tenant, Upat SA, who occupies the majority of the building, and 2 smaller businesses who both operate in the clothing industry. Lekrom underwent a complete revitalization in 2001, marking the first of Keithsons' renewal projects. As the images will show you, the industrial finish and meticulous attention to detail became the initial palette from which Keithsons went on to create its own distinct development style.
