Unnamed and referred to as merely ERF 940, this full city block south of the old Standard Bank arena is currently where Rea Vaya busses spend their days. Several residential developers have had their eye on this block, particularly with the increased demand for student housing in the area. While Keithsons has had high level, conceptual plans drawn up for ERF 940, there are no 'concrete' plans in place to develop this site as yet. Rea Vaya are a happy and excellent tenant, who appreciate that an entire block, paved and fenced, is not an easy find in New Doornfontein and Troyeville (the end of their current Eastern Johannesburg bus route).
